The Jericho Rose, also known as the resurrection plant, is a unique species of desert plant found in the Middle Eastern deserts near the city of Jericho in the Judean desert in Israel. This plant can withstand long periods of drought by curling up into a tight ball, losing all its moisture and appearing dead. However, when it is exposed to water, it expands, absorbs the moisture and comes back to life.
